Determining your pay rate

When you apply for a specific Scholars project, we take into account the pay rate that you indicate to us during your onboarding process, and the project rate determined by the client.

We also may offer you additional projects, some of which may be at a different rate than your requested rate. We will always give you the opportunity to accept or decline these projects based on your own preference.

Currencies

All of our projects are billed in US dollars (USD). We do not adjust pay rates based on currency fluctuations.

Pay rate types

Most of our projects are billed on an hourly rate - you are paid a fixed rate per hour of work. Occasionally, we may also pay based on completion of tasks, or a flat monthly fee for your work on a project, with an assumption of a fixed number of hours per week. You will always receive a clear explanation of your rate, your time commitment and other relevant project details in your Statement of Work (SOW), the agreement you sign before beginning a project.
